The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) has re-advertised the Advancing Gender Equality Micro-Grants (AGEM) for registered, women-headed Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the Baltistan region. This initiative is part of the GAC-funded BEST4WEER project, aiming to promote gender equality and empower women in their communities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the micro-grants, CSOs must meet the following criteria:
- Be registered and women-headed
- Be from the following Union Councils (UCs):
- District Skardu: MC Area Skardu, UC Hussainabad, UC Shigarikalan, UC Shigari Khurd, UC Kachura, UC Chunda, UC Gole Sermik, UC Basho, UC Stak, UC Mendi, UC Baghicha
- District Ghache: UC Khaplu, UC Daghoni, UC Farano, UC Kharko, UC Siksa, UC Thagus, UC Thaly
- District Kharmang:
- District Shigar: UC Marapi, UC Markunja
Application Process
CSOs that have already applied in response to the previous advertisement published on 12th May 2025 do not need to reapply. To apply, follow these steps:
- Download the Expression of Interest (EOI) form from the link: akrsp.org.pk/index.php/grants/
- Fill out the form and submit it via email to: grants.akrsp@gmail.com
- Alternatively, submit hard copies of the EOI at:
- AKRSP Regional Office, Skardu
- AKRSP Area Office, Ghache (Baltistan)
